Project History

Expert Network for Academics and Industry Partners | Indemia

Co-founded Indemia.net: an online expert network allowing companies to better connect with academic experts worldwide.

At Antler Australia, an incubator program, I was lucky enough to work with some fantastic individuals on creating technology startups.

I worked in hackathons and design sprints to generate ideas solving real-world problems with the help of technology. I regularly pitched the business concepts to the cohort, to industry experts and investors.

I also performed market research and validation, conducted interviews, business modeling, and held daily coaching and workshops with industry and startup experts.

As a result, I co-founded Indemia.net, an online expert network allowing companies to better connect with expert academics in various fields who are experienced with working with industry partners applying their research, expert knowledge, and technology.

Job Platform | Defencejobs.gov.au

Led a product and project management team in building various platform features and products with a 37.6% increase in apps.

For over four years, I led a team of 6-8 product and project managers who were overseeing the development of various features and products within the recruitment platform of the Australian Defence Force.

In close collaboration with the digital lead, technical director and CTO, I handled roadmap planning and prioritized all products, features, and milestones of the platform. The products included an online application form, event finder, landing page generator, virtual reality games, an interactive 360° simulator, interactive video games, salary comparison tools, and more.

I led discovery and scoping phases including the conceptualization, experience design, prototyping, customer testing and interviews, stakeholder workshops, and the AB testing. I also led the relaunch and system integration to Sitecore which included the Salesforce and CRM platforms.

Results:
• 17% increase in efficiency through the recruitment funnel
• 100% increase in female enlistments
• 37.6% increase in completed applications

ADF Active Fitness App I Havas Worldwide

Led product concept, experience design, development, launch, and ongoing enhancements—top 10 in iOS Sports, 4.5-star rating.

ADF Active is a mobile app (iOS, Android) that helps prospects to get fit enough to enter the Australian Defence Force. It has a personalized fitness program that is optimized for the user's fitness level and test requirements. This program includes fitness assessments, an exercise plan, regular progress assessments, and dynamic adaptions.

I managed the whole product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing enhancements. I worked closely with the product owner on the client-side and managed the product roadmap, prioritizing backlog consisting of customer feedback and strategy-related features.

Due to the success and decrease of prospects' fail rates, we were given a budget for the second version, including improved imagery, more training features, high-quality video material, and additional features like podcasts.

Adobe AEM Integration Coles Car and Landlord Insurance I Razorfish

https://financialservices.coles.com.au/insurance/car-insurance

Managed UX and development phase within client's technical team and at the time the largest Adobe AEM team in Australia.

Working closely with technical leads and architects, I managed a project team of two UX designers and six onshore and 15-20 offshore developers during the build phase of Coles Car and Landlord Insurance online forms.

I worked on-site at Wesfarmers Insurance and ran agile ceremonies like backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives. I was also heavily involved in the setup and optimization of how onsite and remote teams collaborated with each other.

eCommerce Platform for Qantas Golf Club I Razorfish

https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/memberSpecials/qantasgolfclub

Led the build and launch of Qantasgolfclub.com, an eCommerce platform—enabling access for 10 million frequent flyer members.

We worked closely with the frequent flyer team at Qantas to develop an eCommerce platform that allowed members to book and manage their tee-times across Australia and worldwide.

We partnered with Golf Now who provided a booking system and golf course database via API integrations. Working with business analysts and subject matter experts from Qantas, I managed the UX and design teams at Razorfish. Along with being involved in user interviews, I ran sprint ceremonies for all parties which included sprint grooming, demos, and retrospectives. I also worked remotely with a development team from Deloitte and ran regular virtual standups and agile ceremonies.

Samsung Stadium Audio Live Streaming Mobile App I Razorfish

Led product concept, build, and launch of the Rugby Lions Tour app—17,000 downloads, 37,000 audio streams in 3 test matches.

The British & Irish Lions tour is a 3 Test Series that's played every 12 years.

I led the product concept, development, and launch of this iOS and Android app—allowing fans to replace the original live commentary on TV with live commentary of the comedians Roy & HG which was streamed from Channel 9 studios.

Other functionalities were a live social feed hosted by a social response team with Roy & HG, which prompted a live Q&A, sweepstakes, and conversation throughout the live games.

Australia Post Postcards App I Razorfish

https://www.iabaustralia.com.au/research-and-resources/research-resources/item/12-research-and-resource/1254-australia-post-postcards-app

Led product concept, development, launch, and ongoing enhancements (go-to-market strategy) with over 1,000 installs per week.

I managed the product from concept to launch including the go-to-market strategy and ongoing enhancements.

‎The product was one part of a strategy helping Australia Post to bring their traditional physical products to the digital age. The app allowed a user to send their favorite holiday photos as physical postcards. The app won various awards including one at the Webby Awards.
