For this project, I identified a significant market opportunity to launch a math tutoring platform for children and designed the product end-to-end, iterating it through several designs and MVPs. Our platform was the first of its kind in the Russian market.

After the public launch in September 2021, we reached product-market fit in seven months with 1,000 paying customers. I received consistent reports about how our lessons reduced students' math anxiety after four weeks of studying on our platform and improved grades at school after eight weeks.

I remotely assembled an international cross-functional team of 120 employees, including engineering, design, product management, marketing, sales, and support staff.

The success required a combination of a data-driven approach to product development and an experience-driven system based on our team members' tutoring experience.

Through careful stakeholder management, I signed contracts with the largest hospitals in Moscow for medical data provisioning. I built and led teams that designed and developed the platform, including 35 engineers, designers, and data scientists, and architected and launched the fourth computational cluster in Russia (by peak TFLOPS) with petabyte-scale storage.

I reduced workforce and computing resources by splitting the monolith system into multiple services, replacing parts of existing functionalities with open-source solutions, and optimizing the database structure. Furthermore, I transformed the department processes to use OKRs for yearly and quarterly planning.
