Payment Gateway for Royal Caribbean
Led the design and deployment of the new payment gateway.
On Royal Caribbean’s digital transformation platform, Excalibur, which used the Scaled Agile Framework to scale to a team of more than 1,000, I led the redesign of the payment gateway system. My team successfully created and deployed native apps and responsive web UIs and built integrated back ends with payment processors, AWS cloud services and the legacy systems.

Implemented Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies resulting in many improved efficiencies.
Replaced a “Water-Scrum-Fall” management approach with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies at H-E-B Grocery Company, which resulted in much lower bug rates, increased team velocities, decreased time spent in meetings, and the delivery of higher quality software by agreed upon deadlines.
