Played a key role in facilitating and driving the Agile roadmap, planning it together with Agile coaches, resulting in the creation of a viable Agile roadmap for the HKJC. Additionally, I led the initiative to transform product teams within the club, successfully identifying several POC teams and enabling their transition to Agile product teams.

Furthermore, I have provided coaching and training to over 20 Agile project teams across different departments, focusing on Agile practices and mindset. Through these efforts, I sought to cultivate a positive Agile mindset within the club. Additionally, I have provided coaching, training, and demonstrations to over 10 new Agile project teams, kick-starting their journey as effective Agile teams.

Moreover, I coached the data analytics service team, guiding them through the transformation from a project-based structure to a vertical service or product team model. This change allowed for better resource planning and increased visibility on inter-project dependencies.

In addition to these initiatives, I facilitated the community of practice, ensuring regular updates to the Agile framework, and actively promoted Agile courses to improve Agile maturity within the club.

In this project, I was responsible for facilitating program increment (PI) planning sessions for two strategic project teams, each consisting of more than 80 members.

I successfully managed 7 Scrum and 4 Kanban teams with 60+ members in a Scaled Scrum Team model for an enterprise data warehouse project. Similarly, in the context of an enterprise data analytics platform project, I managed 8 Scrum teams and 5 Kanban teams with over 70 members in a Scaled Scrum Team model.

In addition to my managerial responsibilities, I also trained teams in Agile practices, promoting an Agile mindset and increasing transparency. Through ongoing counseling and coaching sessions, I have emphasized the importance of an Agile mindset and Scrum values beyond simply attending Scrum events.

I took the lead in designing and implementing the Agile governance roadmap, ensuring it aligned with the organization’s Agile practices and strategic goals.

To ensure its adherence to Agile practices, I regularly monitored project teams and provided insightful recommendations in the Agile governance report, increasing efficiency and effectiveness. Continuous improvement was the main focus of my role. Therefore, I conducted ongoing reviews of Agile governance processes and practices, leveraging feedback and performance metrics.

Recognizing the value of knowledge sharing, I actively gathered lessons learned from project monitoring and checks. By facilitating knowledge sharing across the organization, I promoted the adoption of best practices and nurtured an Agile culture.

As an Agile coach, Scrum Master, and technical team leader, I have made significant contributions to the success of the Cathay Pacific mobile app. I have provided comprehensive coaching and training to teams, promoting a positive Agile mindset and increasing transparency, and managed the Nexus Scrum team’s product vision, roadmap, backlog, and releases.

Additionally, I initiated and managed development and testing practices, leading the team toward an Agile mindset, and successfully led several large-scale back-end migrations and upgrades to the cloud.

As a technical practice team leader, I actively participated in CI/CD projects. This involved focusing on solution design and architecture, facilitating cross-team communication, and providing accurate cost estimates.

In my role as an Agile coach, I have actively engaged with and facilitated Agile training for both IT teams and management from the business team. This was instrumental in evangelizing Agile practices throughout the enterprise.

To cultivate potential Scrum Masters, I have facilitated knowledge-sharing sessions, allowing Agile talent to exchange experiences and providing valuable suggestions on their case studies and coaching materials. I have also taken the initiative to host regular Agile practice sharing sessions, where I facilitated discussions on top issues and shared useful tools.

Providing consultation sessions has been another important aspect of my role. I have offered guidance and recommendations to IT and business teams, helping them resolve their inquiries related to Agile practices. In terms of onboarding new joiners, I have been actively involved in Agile training. This included facilitating training sessions, preparing materials, designing programs, and co-training with the practice lead.

Furthermore, I have taken the lead in developing the practice of Jira within the organization. This involved creating guidelines for Scrum teams, exploring new features and plug-ins in Jira, and providing support to users.
