I was one of the first scrum masters inducted to build a scrum team from scratch. The project was designed and completed following the Agile management principles, leading to the first Agile transformation within the company. During this project, I collaborated closely with multiple scrum teams in the US and India in remote working conditions and with the product owner to ease the collaborative constraints that usually occur in cross-company projects from different geographic locations. I introduced many innovative ways to introduce an Agile environment by conducting multiple workshops in a virtual environment. Along with the said responsibilities, I also managed a team of 15 developers working on numerous projects.

I collaborated with teams across Europe to achieve the product goal of Metrohm. I introduced new ways of functioning, guided the team to align with the Scrum principles, and brought the best from each member. Using AEM, I helped identify and initiate conversations about risks and cleared impediments before they occurred. Being aligned with the stakeholders and handling inputs with the product owner, I helped them prioritize feedback in the product backlog and delivered the analysis that could leverage the data and information needed to generate increased business value.

Acting as a scrum master, I ensured there was no iteration lag during the pandemic and the project acquisition transfer. The project goals were met even during strenuous external factors by constantly connecting with the team and going above and beyond to ease any impediments that arose. I improvised in getting the team members involved in the scrum events by gamifying the process and introducing new ways to practice agility.
