Foss had a strong content marketing team and great sales development, but they were struggling to generate leads. They had run digital ads previously and done some basic SEO, but there was a lot of room for opportunity when I joined.
• Conducted a complete marketing audit to see where the strengths were, and what was low-hanging fruit.
• Fixed attribution to get a clearer sense of which channels were resulting in down-funnel leads and closes.
• Started gearing up technical SEO and backlinking when they had only done the content side in the past.

As the marketing lead, I owned Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads, and SEO channels for lead generation. I also increased lead volumes by three times in the first month, continuing growth over the next half year while decreasing costs per lead.
This demand generation helped Talkiatry expand to six new states and build brand awareness that enabled them to recruit more psychiatrists to the platform (growing supply side as well).

I worked with EarnUp’s CMO to drive growth during the company’s fundraising period. I led Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO channels to acquire new customers. We saw 2.5 times monthly signup growth and over two times monthly subscriber growth while keeping budgets static.
I also owned the creative strategy, conversion rate optimization (CRO), funnel optimization, and audience refinement. I revised the targeting strategy to a different audience segment that proved more engaged and a source of deeper funnel leads.
Finally, I helped the company raise its next round of funding due to strong lead generation and revenue metrics attained.

Merry People is a fashionable rain boot and gumboot startup in Australia. I worked as their CMO when their CEO was going on leave. I was entrusted with managing the marketing team and agency partners and driving the brand’s strategic expansion into the US. As part of my six months there, I:
