Contributed as a senior Agile coach and release train engineer, implementing and managing the delivery of three programs and five feature teams within the mobile and digital space.
• Managed and coached four iteration managers to facilitate the delivery of Telstra’s digital mobile applications across the iOS, Android, Windows, and Xamarin platforms
• Assigned digital projects to feature teams and reported the capacity and progress to senior management
• Facilitated release retrospective and stand-up meetings with the leads for continuous improvement
• Hosted Scrum of Scrums and PO Sync to sync up all the feature teams and help to unblock impediments
• Implemented a program and capacity tracker for the mobile release train to manage all projects coming into the digital space, from the idea assessment to the discovery, evolve, and release phases
• Reviewed the teams’ progress after every iteration based on the story points planned versus delivered to track velocity and productivity compared to the previous iteration
• Assessed the quality of delivery after every iteration based on unit tests written, new test cases, and test cases automated
• Defined the roles and responsibilities for the release train

This was a startup initiative to build a productivity platform that includes eCommerce, e-learning, and AI. The productivity platform aimed to help users manage their life goals by creating an Agile mindset with the help of their artificial intelligent assistant.

I acted as the product manager and trained high-performing teams in an Agile environment. I also employed and trained a team of 14 full-time employees, comprising user experience researchers, designers, scrum masters, front- and back-end developers, testers, and DevOps, content and marketing specialists.

I implemented the intelligent assistant, e-learning, eCommerce, and productivity platform from the ground up using the Lean Startup principles. Each platform contains an admin and business portal with desktop, iOS, and Android applications. The technology used Angular, Ionic, Net Core, C#, SQL, Mongo DB, the Microsoft Bot Framework, Luis, Cognitive Services, Azure, AWS, and Firebase. It was published in Tech Business News.

Implemented the International Electronic Case Filing, a global tool that linked dispute management systems for all countries worldwide, in six months. This tool allowed global disputes to be managed online for better workflow approval management, tracking, and reporting. This saved the company time and money on emails, faxes, and international calls.

CommBank Kaching is Commonwealth Bank’s revolutionary mobile banking application that allows customers to perform BUMP payments and P2P payments to email and mobile numbers. It also facilitates NFC payments through the iCarte casing. Customers can also perform transfers between accounts, transfers to an address book, and BPay using a QR code. CommBank Kaching is now called the Commbank App.

Worked with the technology group to integrate requirements within the current trading platform and the business group to complete all the legal trading requirements. I also worked with the global offices to ensure they complied with trade in Latin America.

Implemented the first hotel-matching and XML implementation for the Visa commercial solution product, automatically mapping hotel names in billing statements. This increased customer satisfaction and the organization’s competitiveness in the market.

I worked with financial leaders, such as NAB, Westpac, ANZ, and BNZ, to implement and launch commercial cards. I also provided technical consultation to internal and external users and the management board to optimize the business awareness of the technology.

Trained and coached the group learning and development teams to adopt an Agile mindset using SAFe, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies and including a community of practice and Scrum of Scrums for transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement in the program and portfolio.

The Westpac Business teams were showcasing their achievements to the HR leadership team monthly for the last two sprints and pointing out impediments to supporting the Agile journey. This allowed the Westpac Business leadership to experience the benefits and push all other HR teams to become Agile. Teams are now helping each other via the community of practice for sustainability.
