Work Experience
Training Program Developer
Toptal
- Joined the Toptal training team to develop a multilevel training program for project managers and those interested in gaining project management skills.
- Researched and reviewed applicable training courses suitable for the learning path.
- Organized all courses into three multi-week paths designed to address project management fundamentals, advanced project management topics, and agile project management.
Project Manager
Freelance Clients
- Managed a large data migration project. Corrected course on schedule for the project started six years prior. Assessed and implemented a schedule recovery plan. The project concluded when seven million member accounts were successfully migrated.
- Spearheaded a project for a major telecom company to provide the capability to auto-enroll members into services post-purchase, allowing members to immediately see the product's value to reduce churn.
- Managed a partner-facing web refresh of an eligibility checker experience and offer page. Oversaw multi-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, web experience, and eCommerce.
PMO Manager | Scrum Master
FLYHT Inc
- Joined the team to create the PMO including all processes and procedures. Implemented PMI best practices for Waterfall projects. Improved budgeting and scheduling tools to incorporate best practices. Coached and mentored all project managers in the PMO.
- Led an Agile transformation for the software team. As a scrum master of three scrum teams, grew the agile maturity of all teams working to produce three new aviation-related SaaS products. Served as agile coach to scrum teams and the business at large.
- Managed multiple projects at once ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000.
Senior Program Manager
Sierra Nevada Corporation
- Led the financial turnaround of a $130 million program, that was oscillating between $20 million under to $5 million over. Achieved by instituting a control account management system as well as data analysis of repair costs to reduce outstanding commitments past the PoP.
- Negotiated a $2.3 million claim with government contracting, all going to profit. The basis of the claim was that work performed was covered by the scope of the statement of work (SOW), but had not been proposed originally, therefore was owed by the government.
- Overhauled the proposal process of a $360 million, three-year proposal, to allow for submission in the same amount of time as a normally $130 million, one-year proposal with no regulatory deficiencies.
