    • Managed due diligence projects and overall company integration projects for 10 companies acquired by the ESW Capital group.
    • Aligned 30 functional leaders and their teams to perform a complete and expedite 4-week due diligence and a 90-day full integration into ESW Capital processes.
    • Ran the company on par with the acquiring company CEO for 90 days.
    • Integrated and closely managed server migrations to AWS, creation of CICD pipelines, improvement of the overall software quality, source code migrations, compliance certifications, finance systems migrations, new support team training and more.

    • Led the team that created a credit platform for one of the biggest Latin American banks. Managed the project since requirements creation until users were trained and the system was stable in production.

    • Implemented the knowledge management system in the biggest Uruguayan oil company.
    • Managed the development of the directors' assistance application. Led the team that started with requirement collection up to the implementation and training of executives.

    • Managed the overall project, defining deliverables for the customer, 3rd party vendors that provided other parts of the solution, and other project managers that the solution interacted with.

    • Contributed to the definition of business model, strategic planning, market analysis, technology positioning, financial analysis, relationship with investors and supporting organizations.
    • Created the operations area, responsible for software development (web application and eCommerce site), server infrastructure, and customer relationship management.
    • Led a multidisciplinary team of 15 persons using Agile methodologies. Responsible for information architecture, design and implementation projects of Feng Office for more than 200 companies and organizations worldwide.
    • Defined the marketing and sales strategies, implemented process automation, defined tactics, and promotional campaigns. Developed the end to end strategy for advertising agencies.

Project History
  • Feng Office Collaboration Platform Development
    Managed the development until it became a feature-rich collaboration platform used by millions around the world.

    Feng Office was born as my end of career project while studying systems engineering. I developed it with a colleague as an open source project under the name of OpenGoo. It was rated with the highest grade and was the basis for the venture. The project was recognized and supported by international organizations such as Prosperitas Capital Partners, Allied Venture, and IDB. Uruguayan supporter institutions include the National Agency for Research and Innovation, the Fondo Emprender, the Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay and the Fundación Ricaldoni. International press articles, over a million visits to its website, more than 300,000 users and translations to 25 languages make Feng Office one of the world's most popular cloud-based project management systems.

  • Si Quiero Wedding Gifts Portal
    Relaunched the portal to make it a fully operating business.

    Acquired the portal, renovated it, relaunched it, and sold it.

  • Lead Discovery and PoC for Leading Radio Station
    Lead discovery and MVP phases of a bigger project for a leading radio station.

    Lead the discovery phase which resulted in requirements being defined. Successfully managed the development of the MVP using agile methodologies and handed over to a peer to continue development for the full scope.

  • Infocasas Team Building and Development Team Ramp Up
    Design of the operations area including engineering, SaaS, and support.

    My responsibilities included key team members recruitment, the definition of internal procedures for development, server management areas, advise on angel investment round and successful elaboration of funding plans and training of the future CTO.

    Infocasas is a VC-backed real estate portal for homeowners and real estate agents that wish to sell or rent properties. It currently operates in several Latin American countries and is backed by a Malaysian VC fund.

  • Managed the Credit Platform Project for an International Bank
    Lead the project from requirements gathering until months after go-live, ensuring the success of the project.

    My duties started with requirement gathering, solution architecture and design, leading the implementation team, training users and ensuring the system implementation was a success.

    The customer was the most valuable Latin American bank.
