I radically simplified existing processes and promoted the alignment of the Vietnam-based development team with the German client's work culture, resulting in a relationship of mutual trust and smooth and effective collaboration.

I also introduced Agile testing practices, continuous integration processes, and Lean release management, bringing the change from a slow six-week release cycle to release-on-demand.

I took over a distributed team working on the UI framework of the central eCommerce platform and introduced Scrum to a team with no prior experience in Agile software development. I adapted requirements management and quoting procedures to enable a more Agile approach within an existing, traditional procurement process.

I also achieved a measurable increase in quality, more frequent releases of production-ready features, and simplified the request for proposal process.

I developed a front-end architecture and designed the UI for a complex AI-driven biotech application, which guides the user through training neural networks and visualizes large and complex datasets.

I applied Lean management principles to deliver value without burdening the customer with the formal requirements specifications. I worked with a small, highly effective development team based in Vietnam to implement the software while adhering to strict compliance requirements and data protection regulations.

I designed and built a web app prototype quickly and on a small budget to validate the startup's business case and profitability calculations. I advised the customer on the application architecture, technology choices, and potential trade-offs.

I supported the customer in adapting their business model after prototype development had revealed weaknesses and false assumptions in the previous business case.
