Coastr
  • Architected, developed, and migrated 500 GB of telematics data from Couchbase to AWS S3 data lake, saving a third of the company's AWS bill.
  • Set up a data lake on AWS to store the telematics data. Used AWS Glue to catalog the JSON document, flattened it, and processed it.
  • Provided a provision to query this data using Athena query and refactored how the telematics data was consumed.
  • Used the tech stack Node.js with Apollo GraphQL, TyepScript, GRPC, AWS, and Redis for microservice communication.
Technologies: Node.js, Python 3, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, Amazon S3 (AWS S3), Data Lakes, Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), gRPC, Redis, Terraform, SQL, Back-end, DevOps, Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), Containerization, Microservices, Java, APIs, Networking, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Git, REST, TypeScript, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Distributed Systems, Big Data, JavaScript, HTML, Web Development, CSS, React

Hire Hunch

https://www.hirehunch.com
An HR tech industry domain product to facilitate and speed up a hiring process. With this product, we provide a global interviewing platform to conduct the first round of technical interviews using our homegrown platform called HunchVue. From the supply side, we have a pool of seasoned technical panels who interview candidates. It's an entirely automated platform that conducts the first round of interviews.

Coastr Telematics

https://www.coastr.com
In this project, the requirement was to optimize the current set up of storing the telematics data. Currently, the telematics data is in the Couchbase NoSQL database. Due to this, it became difficult to operate it, and the TCO of owning the 500GB of data had increased 5x.

To solve this issue, I set up the data lake on AWS to store the telematics data. Used AWS Glue to catalog the JSON document, flattened the JSON, and processed it. This provided a provision to query this data using Athena query and refactored how the telematics data was consumed.

Photographers Portfolio

https://photographers.canvera.com
Designed and developed PP-directory (photographer.canvera.com), the platform for photographers to showcase their work in different categories. We could successfully onboard more than 30,000 photographers whose profiles could be previewed by end customers, and contact could be initiated as per occasion requirements and budget. This product turned out to be the flagship product of Canvera in a later stage, contributing to a major percentage of revenue for the organization.

I worked as a senior developer of Vivyo, a subscription-based web hosting application intended for professional photographers providing integrated e-store and creating personalized websites for showcasing their work, creating customized photo books, and selling their photographs. With Vivyo, one could make and publish a website in one minute using over a thousand available in-house designed themes.
