Open-source Projects

https://github.com/gtirloni
Over the years, I made lots of contributions to open-source projects, and most of them are available in my GitHub profile. I try to upstream changes done locally as much as possible so the wider community can benefit and as a way to give back.

Infrastructure as Code CI/CD

http://www.toptal.com
Improved the CI of a large Terraform/Ansible repository by implementing CI/CD checks and fixing all historical code violations (>7,000) to help speed up code reviews and confidence in the codebase. Code review time dropped from over a week to 1.5 days.

On-premises to AWS Migration

https://idrc.ocadu.ca
Migrated on-premises infrastructure comprised of 50 large virtualization servers to AWS while containerizing and automating the deployment using Terraform, Ansible, Packer, and Kubernetes. I also identified services that would be better supported by adopting managed solutions like RDS and ALBs, which decreased support costs considerably.
