  • Designed an entire reporting system capable of building extremely complex reports and SQL queries in an understandable and readable format using Laravel, Eloquent, and Aurora. Kept the OLTP data structure while still providing OLAP-like reporting.

  • Designed incoming and outgoing webhooks systems to communicate with third-party vendors as well as receive data from external systems using HMAC, OAuth2, and Basic Auth, including a template engine for sending custom payload to external services.

An aircraft maintenance application developed between 2011 and 2013 still in use to this day. It was designed to help with the whole journey of booking an overnight hangar, mechanic maintenance, aircraft checklist, manufacturer-recommended actions, etc. The project was developed using PHP, Oracle Database, and jQuery.

Database Optimization

A US-based eCommerce was providing over 400 websites and millions of products from a single MySQL database instance. I was tasked with reducing the overhead on the MySQL server, tuning some extremely heavy queries, and figuring out the proper indexing strategy for parts of the application.

7777 is a standalone CLI tool written in Node.js that allows developers to seamlessly connect to an AWS RDS by establishing an SSH Tunnel on AWS Fargate. Private Keys are generated on-the-fly and discarded as soon as the tunnel is closed, keeping the connection secure and free of attacks.
The tool can navigate from a chosen RDS Cluster and figure out which VPC and Security Group should be used on which Availability Zone to improve connectivity with the RDS.
