- Developed a migration and consolidation strategy to merge multiple Active Directory (AD) privileged account forests to a single end-user computing AD forest for a large multinational client with around 10,000 users and more than 100 applications.
- Designed and implemented Azure AD adoption for a greenfield AD of a newly divested company with around 8,000 users. Implemented federation of Azure AD domains with on-premise AD using PingFederate as an identity provider (IDP).
- Contributed to multiple engagements involving enterprise modernization of AD infrastructure from legacy platforms to the latest server versions (Windows 2016 and 2019) with high- and low-level design documents and implementation run sheets.
- Designed and deployed a new Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) infrastructure for a services company and federated multiple applications such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Informatica.
- Designed and deployed an Azure ATP and Defender ATP solution across domain controllers and end-user workstations. The ATP sensors were packaged and deployed to around 100 domain controllers, and Defender was deployed to multiple end-user workstations.

Greenfield Infrastructure Design and Deployment for a Newly Divested Company
A mining company wanted to divest its IT function from the parent group, which required creating a new IT infrastructure to host its productivity, security, and LOB applications. They had around 6,000 users located primarily in three geographical areas with sales and marketing offices across other continents.
Since most applications were compliant with the Microsoft platform with heavy use of Windows devices and VDIs, Active Directory was the preferred solution to host directory services. The DR design was done keeping in mind the rigorous RTO and RPO standards, stretching the solution across two different sites. We chose VMware with Distributed Resource Scheduler as a platform to deploy AD and application server, taking care of the site reliability in the bare metal layer, and adopting EMC SAN as the storage layer.
The next step was to deploy Exchange for mailing, Skype for IM and Voice, SharePoint for document management, and SCCM for packaging and configuration management. Every solution was implemented with a cross-site failover feature to achieve a target SLA of 99.5% and cloud adoption, considering that Azure AD connect (Directory Synchronization) was deployed, and Exchange hybrid provisioned.
