Experience

Reducing Costs with Spot Instance

I migrated all AWS EKS clusters running from an on-demand instance to a spot instance to reduce cost by 30% but still ensure high availability and failover for an application running on Kubernetes clusters.

Migrating Node.js Applications from Heroku to AWS EKS

I wrote Dockerfiles for all Node.js services. I also wrote Terraform to set up VPC, EKS, RDS, Amazon ElastiCache, and Helm provider to set up Prometheus, the Cluster Autoscaler, and Metrics Server. I wrote Helm charts for services. I also wrote GitHub Actions to build and deploy applications.

Building Azure Databricks with Terraform

I used Terraform to provision Azure Databricks workspaces and other Azure services for the data platform team. In addition, I collaborated in setting up Terraform deployment with GitLab CI/CD so developers could modify and apply changes by themselves.
