Mail Migration Projects

As a professional services consultant, I've worked on several mail migration projects at customers.

Such projects would involve analysis of the current mail environment, design a new one and migrating the mailboxes. It involved preparing documentation, and automation scripts that would perform the task. The most important objective was to design and perform the migration in a way, that would minimize the impact on users' ability to use the service as much as possible.

Directory Service

For several years, I've worked on this a directory services-related project where I designed highly available business-critical systems for a telco operator.

The directory service would be an underlying component for many other entities offering the services to customers and would contain information in quantities measured in hundreds of millions of LDAP entries. The resilience qualities of this system would span all layers including network, storage, computer, and applications.

My role was mainly related to the design, implementation, and support of the application (directory service) part.
