Government Centralization and Citizen 360° View Creation

I led the data engineering team in one of the biggest government projects of handling subsidy entitlement. I analyzed several data sources with different business industries, performed data cleansing and profiling, and directed the streaming from the ETL pipeline (from these different sources), and integrated them into one data model. This was the staging area for data science and analytics models to start their AI algorithms.

Bank Industry Migration from a Standard Data Warehouse to a Data Lake

On this project, I analyzed the data sources of one of the major banks in Egypt. I also revamped the data model to accommodate data lake architecture so the customer can conduct real-time analytics based on the transactions from their client on various bank portals: credits, debits, online banking, ATM, loans, and investments.

This helped the data science team to customize market campaigns so that they could target certain customer bases and measure their stickiness to the bank based on their current statuses and transactions.
