Solomon GL Import

I created a custom-designed application that integrates GL entries from Excel files to Solomon ERP. The Excel files come from 100+ remote locations. The application checks the files for business rules. If all the rules are followed, it processes the file and brings JE to Solomon otherwise it returns the file to the user via email with the errors indicated and asking them to correct the errors and re-upload the file.

The application processed ten different templates for different types of GL entries including adding reversing GL entries.

The project ended with 8,000+ lines of code.
