Architecture of the Compliance Platform

I designed the general architecture of the streaming platform for the compliance organizational unit based on the Apache Pulsar and RedHat Openshift. I also utilized Pulsar functions and processing units. I even used a GitOps approach to infrastructure and platform automation.

CI/CD Pipelines on Red Hat OpenShift with Tekton and Argo CD

I delivered CI/CD pipelines based on GitOps principles, storing Git repositories on the Bitbucket Server. I also contributed to the implementation of continuous integration (CI) pipelines in Tekton, and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines were implemented using Argo CD.

CI/CD Pipeline for a Compliance Platform

I integrated a legacy compliance platform with in-house built continuous integration and delivery software.

The project involved:

• Supply chain management (SCM) switching from Subversion to Git.
• Decomposing the whole monolith into many deliverable components.
• Re-engineering the database layer, determining object dependencies, and developing a database installation tool.
• Developing a set of tools that would orchestrate the components' deployment, such as starting and stopping servers, suspending and resuming jobs, and wait conditions.

The project brought about significant changes in the productivity of the team:

• It unlocked the resources bound to manual release preparation, which cost tenths of working days of several specialists a year.
• It made the development and change management make an organized effort.
• It allowed for the delivery to be more frequent and flexible.

Business Intelligence and Reporting

I developed a business intelligence and reporting solution in the logistics domain, which processed the operations data from the daily distribution of parcels, RFID, and barcode scans.

It was a greenfield project that:

• Shed light on the daily operations of the business.
• Computed the quantitative and quality metrics on an ongoing basis.
• Consequently improved the decision-making processes.
• Introduced a simple prediction model that could identify potential bottlenecks in the network.

Optimization of Distribution Networks

I proposed several optimized models of logistics infrastructure, which maximized the efficiency and network throughput.

The delivery was made by employing techniques such as statistical modeling, graph theory algorithms, discrete event simulations, multiple vehicle routing problems, traveling salesman problems, and simulated annealing.

Schengen Information System

Government information system as a part of the country's entrance into the Schengen area. I was responsible for the requirements analysis and IT design of the visa domain part of the system.

The delivery comprised various IT analyses and design documents, which defined the information system's structure and behavior.

Furthermore, the delivery included the test cases and user acceptance criteria for each part of the system.

Online Banking Solution

I participated in the software development of the online banking solution for a major bank. I started as a team member, and in later stages, I became a lead for the software development team.

In terms of my contribution to the overall solution, I delivered components that took care of online financial transaction processing, authorization, authentication, and digital signature verification of batch transaction files.

At that time, the solution was state-of-the-art and years ahead of the competition, and we were all incredibly proud of it.
