I´m known for being the go-to guy to help development teams to tune their SQL queries and reports. Reports that used to take hours or days are tuned to complete in few seconds or minutes—and sometimes without it being necessary to change any code.

Oracle E-Business Suite Monitoring System
On this project, I developed an Oracle E-Business Suite monitoring system to help troubleshoot E-Business suite issues. The system was developed using an Oracle database as the back-end and Perl and Apache for the front-end. By using the system, users are able to monitor the overall health of E-Business instances and can deeply inspect what sessions are doing at a database level with SQL plans and some other statistics.
Oracle EBS 11i to R12 Upgrade
Here, I worked on a project to upgrade the company Oracle E-Business Suite from 11i version to R12 (including an upgrade of the Oracle database from 11i to 12c). I also helped on the custom code retrofitting and with Oracle patches and upgrades. In addition, I worked with the business to identify and fix production issues after it went live with new E-Business suite version
Call Billing System
Here, I developed a call-billing system based on CDRs (call detail records) provided by Cisco gateways. The system was developed using an Oracle database as the back-end and ASP (IIS) for the front-end. The final system was able to bill more than 18 million minutes per day
General Ledger and Payables System
Here, I developed a general ledger and payables system used by several customers in Brazil. I implemented the system, integrating it with other systems used by customers, and provided level 2 user support.
Distributed Prepaid Calling Card Billing Platform
This project involved a distributed prepaid calling card platform responsible for the billing of more than 3 million minutes per day. The system was developed using Oracle database distributed in three different physical locations and Cisco gateways. I handled the integration between databases using database links and achieved almost real-time full synchronization between all three locations.
