Workday Global Payroll Integration
This Workday Studio integration is designed to process a PICOF payroll file, transform it, and send it to multiple destinations. I initially developed this in 2015 for a manufacturing client and revised 2016 for another client. The revision features the utilization of document tags, which makes routing easier.
Mule 4 Uplift
The higher ed client implemented MuleSoft several years earlier, with APIs developed in the Mule 3 version. The extended end-of-support warranty for Mule 3 version apps will transpire by 2024. There was a need to uplift existing Mule 3 apps into Mule 4.
I was tasked to create designs to uplift the Mule 3 integrations to Mule 4. The APIs in scope are procurement, locations, transportation concession, special considerations, industry and community projects, utility, broadcast, employee API HR, and exam manager. Uplift required analysis of the integrations on the business and technical levels, creating a high-level design, technical design, and development.
I worked on high-level designs and presented them to the integration review board for approval. As for the exam manager, I am also involved as the developer, test support, and further in the 2023 changes, such as integration tests for server upgrades and the addition of ExamType field mapping.
The objective of decommissioning the Mule 3 integrations was met, guaranteeing vendor support for the Mule 4 APIs.
