Workday Global Payroll Integration
This Workday Studio integration is designed to process a PICOF payroll file, transform it, and send it to multiple destinations. I initially developed this in 2015 for a manufacturing client and revised 2016 for another client. The revision features the utilization of document tags, which makes routing easier.
Mule 4 Uplift
The higher ed client implemented MuleSoft several years earlier, with APIs developed in the Mule 3 version. The extended end-of-support warranty for Mule 3 version apps will transpire by 2024. There was a need to uplift existing Mule 3 apps into Mule 4.
I was tasked to create designs to uplift the Mule 3 integrations to Mule 4. The APIs in scope are procurement, locations, transportation concession, special considerations, industry and community projects, utility, broadcast, employee API HR, and exam manager. Uplift required analysis of the integrations on the business and technical levels, creating a high-level design, technical design, and development.

The pharmaceutical client wanted to develop version 2.0 of its worker and organization APIs. Data would come from Workday, and objects, such as personal information, address, and job for worker API, or cost center, company, location, and supervisory organization for organization API separate its structure.
The data pipeline consists of Workday, AWS S3, Talend, Mongo DB, and MuleSoft. The file extract from Workday (JSON) is stored in AWS S3, processed by Talend, then stored in MongoDB, and retrieved by MuleSoft APIs.
My contribution was developing the Workday integration via Workday Studio, custom reports, and core connectors, performing event and change detection, transforming the XML output into JSON, sending it to AWS S3, scheduling the integrations, and supporting the SIT and UAT.
