The platform was designed to aid farmers in selling their perishable products to consumers affected by limited mobility caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the first few months of lockdowns, high-value crops produced by farmers were left to rot and eventually disposed of. Farmers were delighted to hear about the platform since it minimized, if not eliminated, their losses.
Funding for SME Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)
Assisted an SME in applying for a grant to fast-track product development of an underwater ROV. The application was approved, and SME received a grant from Enterprise Singapore.
The remotely operated underwater vehicle is designed to ensure the security of ships using its magnetic wheels to crawl alongside the vessel hull and detect hidden contraband below the waterline using both cameras and sonar. It also inspects the integrity of a ship's hull to check for any cracks and bio-fouling and eliminates any risk to divers in the traditional way of hull inspection.

The customer service office of a petroleum company's regional business was successfully migrated, and customer order-taking roles in Singapore were relocated to Malaysia. The affected staff could find another position within the company, preventing retrenchment.
