Automox Worklets
Created an infinitely scalable way for IT managers to patch, deploy software, and manage any system at scale.
Automox Worklets are preconfigured scripts that work on Windows, Linux, and Mac—allowing IT managers to scale their patch management and system management efforts from one place. Previously, IT managers had to use different software for each platform and write their own scripts, taking up time and resources. With Automox Worklets, IT managers can instead pull scripts from Automox's repository—from the community or from their experience—and deploy them instantly at scale. Some examples of Worklets include deploying Zoom to all corporate machines, installing an out-of-band Windows update, or setting password rules for every machine in the network.
I was the sole product manager and customer advocate for Worklets, helping to design the solution, communicate with customers and a community beta group, and work with engineers to build and deliver the feature. I also helped to create the community program to share and source Worklet scripts from other customers of Automox.
CommercialTribe Coach for Sales Managers
Led the planning, design, and development of CommercialTribe's revolutionary sales coaching app, used by enterprise sales managers across industries.
CommercialTribe Coach allows sales managers to review and assess their seller's calls and interactions and provide targeted coaching opportunities. The app was designed with several assessment frameworks that managers could score during a call, providing managers an easy and scalable way to determine what sellers were doing well, and what needed work. Reassessment showed the score history and progression over time.
I led product planning, customer engagement and feedback, and daily engineering and design work for CommercialTribe Coach. Our team was able to test, develop, and release the app in an eight-week period, iteratively developing new features and enhancements aligned to customer feedback. I also completed a design sprint and managed a beta program with over 50 sales managers.
Automox Cloud Patch Management
Led the creation of the first fully cloud-based patch management solution for all operating systems.
I helped build and design Automox's cloud patch management, a first of its kind way for IT teams to patch and manage all of their systems at scale, from the cloud, regardless of OS or location. Traditionally, IT teams have had to patch their computers the old-fashioned way±either using legacy software programs with multiple employees managing each step or by patching computers one by one by hand.
Instead, Automox cloud patch management allows IT teams to patch, deploy software, manage configurations, and secure machines from a single platform that works with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. A major feature introduced in this project was the ability to patch software titles based on the severity of the fix, with dynamic policies to allow IT managers to pick and choose how and when they addressed critical threats to their systems—another first in the market.
I scaled Automox's patch management solution—planning and designing all features introduced in the first versions of the platform. This included patch management, software deployment, configuration management, and reporting features.
