Augmented Reality in eCommerce (Proof of Concept)

Acted as the product owner in the PoC AR development for eCommerce space. The product can be used as a plug-in for any eCommerce to showcase their products in users' space via AR.

The feature allows users to AR furniture and assets in their home to experience before purchase. The product development lifecycle included product road mapping, API development, UI/UX inputs, and QA.

AR component was created as an “AR player plugin,” which can be compatible as part of any custom app.

The benefit of the current iteration of the webstore versus the in-app store is that the webstore has four bundles of PokéCoins that provide bonus coins, which go up in value with each more-expensive bundle. Purchases made through the web store don't fall under the Apple and Android platform fees.
