Development of an ACA State Solution

Designed and developed an ACA state solution for employer groups to send health coverage information to state governments.

looWith the passage of the tax law at the end of 2017, Congress eliminated the penalty for not having health insurance beginning in 2019. The ACA individual mandate was considered an essential tool for encouraging individuals, especially for young, healthy adults, to purchase health insurance. States looked to adopt an ACA state individual mandate requirements to stem this expected loss of coverage.

The ACA state solution provides employers with a path to compliance for the states in which their employees reside that mirrors the federal standard.

API Community of Practice

Created the API Community of Practice to engage teams into learning more about APIs.

The most amazing thing started with a t-shirt. I had an idea to start an API community of practice to inspire members to develop robust API solutions and share ideas. It stuck. The result enabled us to start a conversation with different teams, share ideas and ultimately improve our API position in the market.
