  • Built an Android application as a part of a DSS system that provides factory management the ability to enter, view summary reports, and control important business processes.
  • Improved the microservice architecture of the project related to processing sensor signals to predict breakdowns of machines and their parts in factories.
  • Implemented REST APIs to get necessary data to visualize various signal characteristics, including online data with WebSocket connections in conjunction with MQTT protocol.
  • Designed and implemented some basic components of the UI in Vue.js.
  • Managed a team of five developers to complete all the steps and tasks required to create products successfully.
Technologies: C#.NET, NHibernate, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Java, Android SDK, MQTT, SQLAlchemy, Web API, MSSQLCE, MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Gradle, C#, APIs, REST APIs, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, Python, Vue, TypeScript

Software Developer

2007 - 2014
Opti-Soft
  • Designed and developed a framework of optimization algorithms for solving a wide range of manufacturing tasks.
  • Developed business logic code and fixed database issues on various platforms.
  • Developed a data access layer and participated in UI for an Excel add-in application with the ability to CRUD historian tags from the Metso DNA Historian database.
  • Helped improve the structure of the Windows Phone application for Metso DNA Historian data workflow and implemented numerous new features.
  • Worked on the back end for the Metso DNA Portal web application, which is the hub for Metso applications.

Co-founder

2009 - 2013
X3Soft, LLC
  • Worked on the core of the application for automating the taxi service.
  • Implemented a client's notification service (SMS/calls), bound PBX Asterisk stuff, created a web application for viewing the KPIs of the taxi service, and built an Android application to order a taxi.
  • Created a vending Android application for receiving data from vending machines via Bluetooth using DEX protocol and transferring them to storage.
Technologies: Java, Spring MVC, Asterisk, Apache Maven, Android SDK, MySQL

Software Developer

OnTarget Group
  • Implemented most of the back-end logic of a web application that enables event management, participation, charity work, and pledging and provides payment services and reporting for accounting purposes.
  • Helped improve the code of a sensor signal processing application.
  • Implemented a JMS layer based on an Apache ActiveMQ messages broker that handles millions of signal events from a big sensor chain.
  • Implemented a service that persists signal events from sensors to the Hadoop database.
Technologies: C#.NET, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Java, JMS, Hadoop, MSSQLCE, NHibernate, C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET

Opti-Wood

https://www.opti-soft.ru/en/opti/wood
DSS system Opti-Wood is designed for wood harvesting enterprises as a production optimization tool for planning, management, and control. The system has a digital map-based GIS tool to improve the visibility of planning results. The largest Russian pulp and paper industry company was one of the customers. I was the lead developer and system architect. I designed math optimization models, implemented algorithms with most back-end logic, and created an Android application for factory management.

Stone

http://stone.opti-soft.ru/
A cloud-based service designed as a tool to optimize production for companies that are engaged in stone processing. I served as a lead back-end programmer and project architect and handled math modeling and implementation of optimization algorithms.

Cadaster

Cadaster is a web application created by a team led by me for calculating the mass cadastral valuation of real estate objects. It uses various statistical methods to calculate mass cadastral valuation based on numerous factors, including territorial ones. For them, a GIS map was created based on the OpenLayers library.

Repair

Repair is a microservices-based application related to processing sensor signals to predict machines' breakdowns and parts in factories. A team of 15 people developed it: four of them, including me, were in charge of REST APIs to CRUD signal data, obtaining online data via WebSockets paired with a message broker, and developing a UI to visualize various signal characteristics.

X3Taxi

Represents development of taxi automation system. From my side, the following features were implemented: a client notification service (SMS/calls), binding for PBX Asterisk, a web application to view the KPIs of the taxi service, and an Android application to order a taxi.

UOS Framework

An optimization algorithms library for solving different manufacturing tasks by projecting math models solved using linear programming, non-linear programming, dynamic programming, heuristic programming, and meta-heuristic programming. My role was to implement most of the optimization methods from the computer science parts above.

Jeizer

A Jakarta EE application related to receiving, handling, and storing messages from various sensors in a big equipment chain using Apache ActiveMQ. I designed and wrote a data handling interface to get data from a broker and save it into a Hadoop database.

URobot Cloud

https://karelics.cloud/
URobot Cloud is a cloud-based microservices application for managing robots, maps, and building models. It allows you to perform work at construction sites, enterprises, and factories using robots. I was a senior back-end developer and was in charge of the development of microservices with the main features of the application and improving performance.
