Express.js middleware added by default to most of the company's front ends that monkey patches Node.js internals to block cookie creation when the cookie has not been categorized.
I wrote the RFC, negotiated the implementation and developer experience with other development teams, and led the code development. Also, I developed the middleware, services for maintaining a cookie catalog in the application, and the back end in Go to serve the cookie catalog. This quadrupled the number of cookies categorized in the company.
