The most amazing...
...thing I've built helped marketing teams increase the campaign's ROI by 15%, customizing gamification features in a loyalty program based on customer profiles.
Work Experience
Senior Data Analyst
SCRM - Lidl International Hub
- Designed and implemented a data warehouse and data contracts to be ingested in Azure Data Lake from a mobile app interaction. Merged mobile interactions from GCP Firebase and back-end events.
- Developed ETL and data quality routines using Python in a Spark framework to ensure the data model granted robustness and completeness for business analytics. Python app was packetized on Azure Repos with CI/CD workflow leveraging Azure pipelines.
- Led combined product analytics and customer behavior studies to characterize and categorize customers based on product fit. These studies resulted in defining guidelines to create a customized marketing campaign based on customer clusters.
- Orchestrated an ETL using Apache Airflow hosted on Kubernetes. Integrated an Opsgenie alerts system with teams to streamline the night support process and reduce human capital on call costs.
Senior Business Intelligence Consultant
Capgemini Engineering
- Designed a solution based on Python and Azure architecture to manage and control daily orders (3,000+) for the biggest FMCG companies worldwide. Developed the solution using Spark framework leveraging distributed computation to ensure scalability.
- Built an E2E solution to identify anomalies and correct invoices for a major energy distributor in Spain. Designed the tool using Python in BEND and RDBMS in Azure. Advised and led the migration and deployment of the solution from on-premises to the cloud.
- Performed ad-hoc product analysis to assess the impact of a new marketing tool on online shopping behavior. Built a reporting and analytics platform using Python and Power BI to grab insights from regular and experiment-based campaigns.
Junior Data Analyst
IDOM Consulting
- Designed and built ETL processes with Python to control and alert about maritime operation risks based on Container tracking information. Automatized alert system to warn when operational risks are unusual or above the threshold.
- Created an optimal analytical data model to explore in-land and sea-side operational data information. Advised DBAs on the construction of the data warehouse.
- Performed exploratory and ad-hoc analysis related to productivity. Defined rules and guidelines based on the data observation to improve productivity on the in-land side of the terminal, aiming at raising the performance by 15-20%.
Experience
Loyalty Marketing Profiler
Defined strategic KPIs and business goals. Implemented ETL and data warehouse using Spark on Azure Databricks for daily ingest of data orchestrated with Apache Airflow on Kubernetes. Reported results and explored data assets. Shared insights and guidance in marketing campaign definition for +25 countries.
Order Planification Tool
As a result, there was a cutoff of 35-40% in human capital costs, saving 50,000€ per year once the solution was fully implemented.
I designed it using Python and Airflow to orchestrate the jobs. The tool did not need human intervention. The main challenge during the solution's lifecycle was to move from on-premises infrastructure to cloud base services in Azure. By accomplishing this, there was a reduction of over 50% in maintenance expenses.
Maintenance Checklist App
The workflow for the maintenance checklist was manual, time-consuming, and suboptimal. To streamline the process and increase the productivity and profitability of the projects, I created a web app based on Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Azure.
As a result, a quarter after the implementation of the tool was finished, the customer reduced the time spent filling in the forms by 30-40% and increased the profit margin of the projects by 7-15%.
