Call Center SaaS Platform

I built and led an engineering team of 35 developers and QA. I managed two current platforms in AWS across 3,300 customers. I also assessed and designed the zero-trust network access utilizing Cloudflare.

Responsibilities
• Selected ML and AI vendors for voice and text processing.
• Architected and designed the current high throughput omnichannel communications platform.
• Assessed and selected an omnichannel communications partner.
• Architected and assessed secrets management for and across the engineering team to manage user and system secrets.
• Delivered a migration of the legacy platform to the current platform for our existing customer base in nine months.
• Architected and worked across product, support, onboarding, sales, and marketing to architect the new SaaS platform for the next-generation Call Center platform.
• Utilized AWS build lab to create a six-week POC for the initial platform services.
• Restructured development and QA teams around SaaS project architecture, DevOps, and technology stack.
• Used Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS native technologies for SaaS platform architecture and POC.

Web and Mobile Patient and Drug Tracking System

A mobile and web-based application to track and support patients taking medications. The platform is hosted in AWS utilizing EC2, SNS, Lambda, and RDS(MySQL) services. It is written in React Native, TypeScript, and Python. We de-deployed to Android and iOS.

Insurance Rating Engine

This role was multifaceted. I built and led the team to rebuild an Excel and .NET 2-tier insurance rating engine utilizing AWS technologies. We created small services that performed specific roles (rules for the engine) that could be composed as needed.

The initial engine was simple; it consisted of 15 service-based rules utilizing Lambda/Node.js/Python, SNS topics, AWS Step Functions, DynamoDB, and an aggregating Aurora RDS (MySQL) for transactional records.

Azure Data Integration Platform

I designed and built a POC for a data ingestion framework using Azure data migration and management tooling. This POC would ingest large datasets into a tiered data lake utilizing Data Factory. Once ingested, Databricks would be used to process the data. After processing, the team would use Power BI to perform end-user analysis.
