Custom WooCommerce Development

https://www.bravotransfers.com
This site is powered by WooCommerce and uses a custom theme.

I've been working on this project for more than a year as a full-stack developer. The site sells car rides from different locations and allows the user to select the vehicle type.

Besides running a custom theme, the site has a very custom behavior:
• Products were created via Woo API.
• There is a search form that allows selecting the origin and destination (both fields use an autocomplete library and load search results from an API).
• The search form allows selecting the pickup location, drop off date and time, and the number of passengers.
• The search form has custom validation, and in order to improve performance, it has custom logic to trigger the product search at different stages.
• When no products are found, a request is sent to create the products dynamically via an API.
• After a vehicle is selected (product added to cart), programmatically, the return ride is added to the same cart.
• The checkout process is also custom and divided into two steps.

WooCommerce-based Fashion eCommerce

https://theextremecollectionusa.com
My role on this project was as a UI designer and as a full-stack developer.

The design process involved two stages: wireframes and UI mockups.
The website is based on WordPress/WooCommerce and employs Bootstrap 5, jQuery, Ajax, and vanilla JavaScript.

The shop is running a custom theme created exclusively for this project; it can support multiple currencies and two different languages.

The project also included SEO optimization, specifically mostly on-page SEO techniques.

Custom WordPress Site

https://tolucafoods.com
The entire UI was designed based on existing brand guidelines. I developed a custom theme for a WordPress site that would behave like a WooCommerce catalog but without employing WooCommerce itself. I created a custom post type and custom taxonomies and linked the custom products to existing products on a different eCommerce site not based on WordPress. The site was developed in two languages.

Custom Woocommerce Development

https://supplysync.shop
A custom WooCommerce site where product lists are created by users with a custom role (school admins). These lists are then available for parents to purchase. All the logic for School Admins was custom-built to create their accounts and manage supplies lists. A custom WC loop was developed as well to adjust to a custom UI. This project included both the design and development stages. The WooCommerce site is powered by a custom WordPress theme built from scratch.

Language Teachers Platform

https://linguaclick.com
Linguaclick is a platform for finding language teachers. They can create and customize their profile, which can be found through a search form with many filters. Students can also create an account to leave reviews on the teachers' profiles.

The whole platform was built in WordPress. Teachers and students are saved as WordPress users. Teachers can modify their custom post type labeled "Teacher file." The platform is currently in six languages. The WordPress site employs the "Linguaclick" custom theme. There aren't any third-party plugins to provide all the functionalities except for ACF Pro.

Custom Forum and Blog Archive

https://linguacop.eu
LinguaCoP is a community for language teachers built in WordPress. The platform includes a blog, forum, and resource inventory. Teachers have the option to create an account that includes the ability to make a post, participate in the forum, add a notification displayed on the home page, and upload a document for the resource inventory. The forum was initially built with bbPress, with large customization to work according to the project's requirements. The resource inventory and the notifications are Custom Post Types (CPTs).
