    The Project Set Up Center was developed entirely in Power Apps as a solution to the number of issues that arose from rapid growth at my company. Using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint as a database, I developed an app to collect client/project information and route it to all necessary stakeholders. The app saved users' time by ensuring that any project information that was already in our database could be accessed and pre-populated into setup forms. Also, our technical skills database was linked into the system to assist users in selecting technical reviewers for all newly set up tasks.

    The vehicle and equipment app was developed using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint as a database. This mobile-ready app was designed to improve how our staff consultants and technicians report using the company’s fleet, equipment, and supplies. This system replaced Google Sheets and Forms that ultimately became unwieldy as the company grew. Within the system, employees are able to view our fleet and equipment, make reservations, log use, find important information (i.e. vehicle registration, parking location, and more), and report problems. The app uses Power Automate to send notifications to the fleet manager when issues are reported or servicing a vehicle becomes necessary. Besides, the data collected from the app is leveraged in an audit tool (also built in PowerApps) that assists our billing department in generating invoices and gives upper management insight into how the equipment is being used. Several shortcuts are built into the app to improve the user experience by ensuring that repetitive data entry can be completed quickly and accurately. Analysis suggests that staff time spent entering data was reduced by an order of magnitude of 10x after the app was launched.
