Figma Design Systems Specialist (Technical)
2026 - PRESENT
Clerky, Inc.
- Architected a five-tier token system (primitives, semantic, component, dimensions, typography, responsive) as the single source of truth for Clerky's design system, eliminating the translation layer between Figma, JSON, and CSS.
- Established a fixed AI-context schema (Pattern A for tokens and Pattern B for components) that replaced free-form Figma descriptions, enabling coding agents to parse component intent as structured data rather than prose.
- Defined and enforced a component naming grammar ({component}/{treatment}/{variant}/{property}/{state}) across the Figma component library, closing a naming/binding mismatch on the Button component that had been misrouting variant treatments.
- Migrated the token and component taxonomy for Clerky's Ember.js and Tailwind CSS v4 front end, mapping Figma variable bindings directly to Tailwind utility classes to remove manual translation at handoff.
- Own the end-to-end token pipeline from Figma variables to production CSS, gating every change on a documented parity/build-verification step.
- Built an automated pipeline connecting Figma, Linear, GitHub PRs, and QA tooling to structure and validate component and token updates before engineering review.
- Introduced a three-tier defect classification (T1 blocking, T2 architectural, and T3 minor) to categorize AI-agent output errors, giving engineering a consistent severity language for one-shot correction review.
- Rebuilt the platform's component library and screen inventory end-to-end for mobile and desktop.

Product Designer for Business Management Platform
2025 - PRESENT
Everbreed Systems LLC
- Led the end-to-end web and mobile redesign of Everbreed, restructuring the dashboard and task system around the two biggest complaints: users didn't know what to do next, and tasks were buried under everything else.
- Ran stakeholder workshops that split Everbreed's single user base into five personas: Show Breeder, Producer, Fiber Producer, Student, and Pet Owner, then designed the Show Breeder feature set as the first persona-specific build to ship from that work.
- Tested the Show Breeder flow in moderated sessions with real breeders and caught a launch-blocking bug: the show detail page looked identical whether a user had joined a show or was still applying.
- Investigated a churn spike affecting 3,000+ users and traced it to a web billing event rather than price sensitivity, after finding churn was uniform across a 4x price range and concentrated on web while mobile stayed flat.
- Rebuilt onboarding around the biology it was ignoring: a 30-day trial doesn't clear a rabbit's approximately 31-day gestation, so first-litter users were hitting the trial wall before reaching their first payoff. Proposed a 45-day trial to fix it.
