As the chief product officer, I contributed to the development of an enterprise platform for insurance chatbots.

Spixii (a multi-awarded European insurtech) worked with many top insurance enterprises in Europe, delivering conversational experiences for a travel insurance quote and buy and property, motor, and commercial insurance claims. I ideated the first product by interviewing hundreds of insurance consumers to draw compelling user stories and validate product-solution fit.

Tasks Accomplished:
• Led the product design and agile development enterprise client implementations.
• Set up the data science function.
• Sold some contracts. One of these implementations was Zara, a chatbot for the first notification of a claim.

Miranda is a multi-sided product. As the Italian first chatbot for managing insurance policies, policyholders talk to Miranda to connect to their insurance agents and products. Insurance agents sign up to the Miranda SaaS platform, where they can personalize some of the bot’s answers and connect Miranda with their agency management system. The Miranda chatbot is a consumer-facing application available on Telegram and web that helps policyholders connect to their agents and manage their insurance policies.

Tasks Accomplished:
• Ran the early customer discovery, budgeting, and product beta launch.
• Conducted primary research and contextual interviews.
• Iterated five MVPs (building prototypes by myself).
• Supported sales pitches, landing the first partnership with Italy’s major management-system software company.
• Currently acting as the scientific advisor on the NLP strategy, machine learning, and as the interim CTO.

I worked as a senior data scientist and product lead in the early stages of HexScore, a telematics software, that offers geospatial contexting for telematics insurance. The software reports on-road risk for every road in the UK at a granular level of resolution (500 meters) through the innovative use of open data, third party proprietary data, and machine learning algorithms.

AI Mentor is a business planning portal that helps entrepreneurs fill up a business plan, documenting their assumptions, and pitch their business for applying to a government funding program in the Middle East. The platform is multilingual, covering English and Standard Arabic.

I advised on product management best practices, agile methodology, and product requirements. I also helped to source the talent required to execute the project and advised on building and maintaining a proactive chatbot that helps entrepreneurs tackling challenging areas of their business plan.

PDF Arabic is a web application that helps to convert Arabic PDF documents in Word in the Middle East market. As a Technical Product Manager, I helped to design the first MVP and the early three phases of the product strategy. The launch of the MVP was very successful, with the website generating hundreds of users from day one. Furthermore, I helped the founder to validate technical feasibility, market demand (desirability), and advised on the economic viability.
