Digital Payments and Data Expert

2020 - PRESENT
  • Consulted on Global RFP projects for large banks and merchants to select payment solutions providers and to white-label their solutions.
  • Gathered requirements and created an RFP scoring model containing four different weights and more than 100 data points linked to payments processing, marketplace payments capabilities, fraud management, risk management and PCI DSS capabilities.
  • Delivered the final report to clients based on which they shortlisted their preferred payment providers.

  • Completed the mapping of all the anti-money laundering (AML) and risk management processes to run while re-shaping the agile product development process to fit it into a regulated entity. Named product representative for the licensing process.
  • Managed (interim) the product management team with three direct reports and a total team of seven while creating the product documentation and ceremonies for the team and assisted in completing the team OKRs.

  • Led the commercial launch of the first SaaS software, coordinating the cross-functional project with all departments within the company.
  • Developed a 5-year product strategy plan with three multi-year projects approved by the senior management and signed off to be the cornerstone of the future software strategy.

SaaS B2B Talent Screening Software

Winner of several awards for the best talent screening system removing bias from the hiring process and allowing companies to hire the best candidates.

Fluttr is an online software solution that allowed companies to look beyond the CV. Companies can upload their own test and select from a list of tests already existing in the system that they could customize.
They would then select the experts who would review the candidate's responses, selecting people from their own teams or experts from the Fluttr network.

Candidates would receive a link, complete the test enjoying a gamified experience, and submit their responses. The selected experts would review the responses without knowing the candidates' identities. Fluttr would rank candidates using a proprietary algorithm looking at factors such as the experts' feedback and candidates' motivation (calculated via a proprietary algorithm).

IOT B2B Cloud-based SaaS Software

Led the long-term SaaS strategy and roadmap creation for CMT Cloud. CMT Cloud is an IoT software enabling geo-technical companies to monitor real-time critical projects' status in industries such as mining, construction, railways, and infrastructure.

WorldSensing is the globally leading IoT company in the geo-monitoring space. They manufactured hardware, monetized it, and required an expert to come in and drive the creation of a SaaS strategy.

I was brought in as the SaaS expert to lead this project. I analyzed the market from end-to-end, created a segmentation of their existing client base, formed a persona-based SaaS strategy, and created, in collaboration with the senior management team, a long-term SaaS strategy and product roadmap for the company.

Furthermore, I led the software's pricing strategy, the feature backlog creation, coordinated the creation of the basis of the user experience (UX) with the lead designer, and oversaw the commercial launch of the product.
