CICOD | Software as a Service (SaaS)

http://cicod.com

Served as the product manager in the development of a software as a service solution (SaaS) that enables merchants to manage their end-to-end order fulfillment process.

CICOD is the ultimate merchant order fulfillment ecosystem that seamlessly integrates customer management, order management, inventory management, and delivery management to diverse regulated payment provider channels.

It allows merchants to initiate orders via online channels or over the phone and complete the order via any of the integrated payment partner outlets. The rollout of the complete CICOD solution was made possible through strategic relationships driven by mutual benefit.

For this project, I was responsible for:
• documenting the product requirement document
• owning the vision
• driving the roadmap
• leading the development of the solution
• conducting the entire scrum agile process

During my tenure on the product, we onboarded over 8,000 businesses in the first three months.

Prowoks | Business Process Automation Software

Led the development and sale activities of a business process automation solution for the public sector.

Prowoks is a comprehensive business process automation and electronic document management system for the public sector. The solution digitizes the business process and document management for the public sector, including states and government ministries, departments, and agencies, while ensuring that data remains confined under tight security protocols to eliminate security risks and maintain confidentiality.

I led the development of the first version of the solution and also engaged in sales activities. The project that involved deploying the solution across two states in Nigeria generated over $1 million, which accounted for 45% of the organization's 2021 revenue.

Corporate Health Portal for the Insurance Sector

Led the development of a bespoke health portal for one of the largest insurance companies in Africa.

The corporate health portal is a robust web application that allows corporate entities to onboard their employees onto health insurance plans. The solution is integrated with other clients' back-office applications for the management plans, coverage, and financial details.

The delivery of the corporate health platform consisted of three subcomponents:
• administrative platform that includes a global admin portal and business admin portal
• corporate portal
• enrollee self-registration form

The business admin portal is deployed as multi-tenant software and a SaaS solution. In contrast, the corporate admin platform is deployed as a routed service application and can only be accessed by authorized users via a web URL.

Nakise Beneficiary Program Management Platform

Led the envisioning and the delivery of the MVP of a program management system for a non-profit organization.

The whole process of digital skilling for decent work engagement is a tedious and cumbersome process due to the manual nature of engagement between the various stakeholders (beneficiaries, facilitators, the client's team, sponsors, and job partners). Most of the communication takes place informally in individual channels with no interconnection between these individuals and their respective interactions.

This lack of integration between the various stakeholders and processes gives rise to reduced inefficiency, long turnaround time, and possibly error within the process, all of which lead to failure or reduction in terms of the expected outcomes of the initiatives being implemented.

To solve this, I led the development of the MVP of Nakise, a work engagement platform with multiple modules to manage the entire program beneficiary lifecycle, starting from when an individual indicates interest in acquiring a digital skill for economic opportunity through to when they finally land a job within their desired career path as well long-term impact assessment of the initiatives within the organization.

Microsoft funded this project.

EIRS Self Assessment Taxation Software

Led the development and release of a self assessment taxation software for a state government in Nigeria.

Given that the business world has become increasingly more complex, the Edo State Internal Revenue Service realized that the manual process of assessing taxpayers was largely inefficient and left room for manipulation and by-pass. Therefore, they concluded that the only way to increase the internally generated revenue was to automate the entire taxation spectrum that exists within the state’s jurisdiction and create a single taxpayer view.

My organization was contracted as a revenue service provider to build a direct assessment administration software that is cost-effective and supports efficient operations.

I led the delivery of this application and in doing so, we were able to improve the state's revenue collection of personal income tax.
