Holt Renfrew (HR) was changing their ERP Software to SAP-ECC Retail solution. This change was company-wide and all other software and applications used by multiple departments needed to be integrated with SAP. I was hired by Cigniti Technologies to manage testing for their Supply-Chain business area. In the beginning, I started eliciting with business owners and users from the supply chain department and reviewing all requirements and designing documents to develop high-level test scenarios. I further transformed these test scenarios in test cases with appropriate approvals from business owners and executed them during System-Integration testing cycles (SIT). During the test designing period, I was further assigned two more business areas (Buying & Stores) for managing its testing based on my work, performance and client management skills. Closer to the release, I was responsible for planning and managing the entire UAT phase for these 3 business areas. This was a great achievement for me as I was able to demonstrate and deliver high quality of work expected from me during this engagement because of which client appreciated my efforts and gave me more accountable tasks. We received a 4/4 star rating from our client review.

UBS was a fund administrator for the alternative fund services sector and had a complex application architecture of 38 applications with 5 client-facing applications. They wanted to implement QA standards and processes for this business division and Oracle was their IT partner. I was hired as a QA Specialist by Oracle in their pilot QA team of 4 to help them implement QA processes. I was responsible for developing regression suite for 12 applications from the entire application architecture. During this period, this business division of UBS was bought over by MUFG and our project of developing regression for the entire architecture of 38 applications took a fast-track as data center migration being essentials. Even with the shorten execution timeline, I was able to carry out effective regression testing for my 12 applications using a risk-based testing approach.

Myplanet was a start-up in 2012, mainly working on open-source website development using Drupal CMS. I was their first QA professional hired as a QA specialist in order to implement QA standards and processes across their project teams. My role in this company was really challenging as I had to work with each project/agile team to understand their development process and then deliver a testing strategy for testing the applications. Depending upon the project/client budget for the project, I was responsible to hire QA resources and onboard them on projects. In my tenure of three years, I helped Myplanet in maturing their QA processes and also win and sustain some of their prestigious clients such as Apple, New Balance, Travelopia, and CenturyLink.
