Work Experience

Principal Salesforce Consultant

2019 - 2023
AIOPSGROUP
  • Launched the UK version of Puma's new headless commerce website.
  • Spent two years with the Puma global eCommerce team and guided them through various topics related to eCommerce, including multiple proofs of concept, demos, and meetings with stakeholders.
  • Managed a team of more than 20 developers and helped them advance their careers.
Technologies: Salesforce, JavaScript

Software Development Manager

2007 - 2019
WESTUM
  • Completed the returns and exchange project for a client in a week, although they initially planned for the project to take two months.
  • Led the Demandware and Salesforce B2C Commerce education program for interns and continued mentoring them after its completion.
  • Integrated web components into Demandware with a single cartridge that replaced the header, footer, and product detail page. The challenge was streamlining and transforming the data so the platform-independent web components could consume it.
Technologies: Demandware, Magento, Salesforce, APIs, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Sass, Less, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), GitHub, eCommerce

Senior Magento Developer

2014 - 2017
Self-employed
  • Created a Vue.js-based configurator for luggage used for B2B purchases.
  • Worked closely with a payment card industry (PCI) compliance company to modify Magento so the client could be certified.
  • Transferred several websites from Magento 1 to Magento 2, including data, themes, and modules.
Technologies: PHP, Magento 1, Magento 2, WordPress, APIs, Sass, Less, GitHub, eCommerce

Demandware Developer

2012 - 2014
Merkle
  • Worked with a team of 15 developers and QA professionals to develop and maintain the website for House of Fraser, United Kingdom.
  • Helped the client with the UI/UX of the new website by creating and demoing prototypes on-site for quick decision-making at their HQ in London.
  • Identified and fixed a critical bug preventing the client from running their Christmas promotions the day before it was supposed to run.
  • Performed all the activities related to working with pipelines.
Technologies: Demandware, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, APIs, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Sass, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Subversion (SVN), eCommerce

Senior Front-end Developer

2010 - 2012
eDesign Interactive
  • Worked on a social media project similar to Facebook from the ground up.
  • Created very sophisticated HTML/CSS layouts during the time of IE6.
  • Worked on projects used by 20% or more of the local population.
Technologies: CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Subversion (SVN), jQuery

Antler UK

Antler is one of the oldest luggage manufacturers in the UK. I was the sole Magento developer tasked with all the front-end modifications, including the complete site redesign, and a back-end developer for all the updates unrelated to inventory and orders, which an agency handled due to legacy implications.

House of Fraser

House of Fraser is a department store chain in the United Kingdom. From 2012 to 2014, it used Demandware and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and I had to introduce a new UI design system using CSS gradients. The main challenge I faced was turning all templates and modules into components, and each component had to rely only on its data, so pipelines and modules also had to be re-engineered. Overall it was a successful project.

Manager for Salesforce On-demand Sandboxes

The project was created out of necessity since the default Salesforce tool (control center) was not flexible enough. I used React, GraphQL, and a Sandbox API to make a one-page, do-it portal—turn on/off Sandboxes, create a new one, manage automation and the people they are assigned, etc.
