BassDrum is a Google Chrome browser extension that lets users watch Amazon PrimeVideo in sync with their friends.

BassDrum enables creating secret rooms that users can share with friends. When someone in the room changes a video, plays, or pauses it, it's instantly synced to everyone in the room. BassDrum was built to help people relive the days where we could still have friends over and have movie nights.

Spilltweet was a Python Flask-based web application that converted long-form text to images so that they could be posted directly to Twitter (hence working around the character limit). Spilltweet supported custom image dimensions, logging in with Twitter, rich text support so that you could have varying font sizes and colors, and directly posting to Twitter.

It was inspired by a tweet by Paul Graham saying he would like such a service.

Spilltweet has since been taken down, as all it was intended as was a fun little experiment.
