Roster eSwap System

This project is a roster swap application where crew members can swap their duties, with various rules triggered as a part of the swap process. This system is intended for both cabin and flight crew. The rules are validated once the swap is performed.

Crew Meal Allowance System

I developed a new crew meal allowance system from scratch. This system calculates monthly meal allowance based on the layover station and layover duration and uses currency exchange to convert the local station currency to AED.

Earlier, crew members were getting their meal allowance in the hotel where they were accommodated. Now the system is standardized and streamlined, so it performs calculations based on the previous month's crew roster and pays them as a part of their monthly salary. The system includes various interfaces, and all the business cases were considered while calculating the allowance.

DB Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL

Oracle Argus schema to be migrated to PostgreSQL DB. Since all the interface DB schemas were in a PostgreSQL environment, all the necessary migrations were carried out, including system analysis, migration strategies, and troubleshooting migration issues.
