  • Archivo Fotografía Urbana (Development)

Institute dedicated to the preservation, research, and dissemination of Venezuelan visual memories through photography and writing.

This website is built in WordPress. A custom theme was required along with five custom post types that were configured with three taxonomies for filtering and sorting. Asynchronous posts achieved a smooth load of data on the archive pages.

To enhance our power, Gulp.js was used to process and build a minified version of the style, which is built in Sass. For extending the power of Sass, Bourbon was used to help develop a faster and more effective style, using the mobile-first framework Bootstrap as a base.

Version control was handled by Git.

  • Gustavo Carrión (Development)

Gustavo Carrión is professional photographer who required an awesome website so he can show his work. This website was built in WordPress with a custom theme created per his detailed instructions.

He required a custom post type for his pictures, and then divided them by categories (Portraits, Products, Models, etc.). In the WordPress back-end, a gallery module was created to manage those types of categories. On the front-end, Bootstrap was used, with animation based on CSS3, precompiled Sass, and minified CSS, with Gulp.js as a task manager. Git was the version control for the project.

In order to accept payments, since Venezuela is a country managed by Bolivares currency, the acceptance of the membership needs to be manual; for that, a page setting was built to check users on the database and allow them to access private content regarding news of this country.

KonZapata is a purchased theme with many changes in architecture and custom post types for different sections of the website. Taxonomies were created to filter and sorting them.
