At the time that I worked on it, there were only four restaurants and two catering websites, but it remained an enormous effort to build it efficiently using child themes so that the site would be fast and each restaurant would have its own look.
Currently, the site has scaled to ten restaurants and caterers, so the use of child themes and the WordPress multisite has been a success in keeping this fast and scalable.

The client let us completely dictate the design process, which streamlined the development process and ultimately made the outcome look great on both mobile devices and standard browsers.
