Lead Product Designer
2017 - 2020
PaperKite
- Managed and mentored a team of three other designers to ensure design output was a high standard across the company.
- Defined and maintained PaperKite's end-end product design cycle-from how it fits in the agile process to the tools the design team used on a day-to-day basis.
- Aided New Zealand's largest supermarket chain, Countdown, to bring their mobile solution to market. I worked alongside a remote squad, consisting of three UX design practitioners, where we engaged heavily in the practices of lean UX-build, measure, and learn.
- Spearheaded a successful redesign of one of New Zealand's most popular (iOS and Android) apps-BPMe for BP. I was the lead product designer on this project for 1.5 years and was responsible for the end-end product design cycle from performing various UX research methodologies to the UI designs, and managing the design system.
- Led additional UX discovery conversations and interaction design efforts with a number of high-value clients-from a casino admin system and mobile app, to an in-store digital kiosk on the iPad for one of New Zealand's biggest banks, BNZ.
- Ran the UX discovery effort for New Zealand's largest department store, from participating in a multi-day workshop with key internal stakeholders to co-design efforts with customers.

Moteefe (Freelance)
- Created mobile-desktop UI designs for pages across the website, both public facing and at the admin level.

Clevertech
- Designed for Clevertech, who was 100% remote as were our clients.
- Delivered an MVP for an Uber-esque beauty solution in LA, from roadmap priority, through to user flows, wireframing, and visual designs for the iOS and Android app.
- Developed a number of internal design tasks for the company such as creating dashboards for various internal web apps.
- Collaborated on a start up called Canopy (previously InsureStreet) for over a year. I worked very closely with the CEO on the UX strategy to help bring this solution to market. We initially released an MVP and followed by shipping a number of subsequent releases to satisfy customer needs.
- Learned how to execute effective UX practices remotely, and developed strong remote working capabilities for various UX tasks such as remote user testing and remote discovery workshops.
