Cruise AI faced challenges in data accuracy and governance due to inconsistent metadata management, duplicate records, and atrophied datasets impacting AI model performance and compliance reporting needed for licensing in the state of California. Without a structured data governance framework, it was difficult to ensure autonomous vehicle decision-making was based on reliable, high-integrity data.

Solution and Contributions:

• Established Data Quality and Governance Policies: Defined data validation standards, metadata structures, and lineage tracking to improve AI model reliability.
Standardized Master Data Management Practices: Created data dictionaries, taxonomy classifications, and business rules for structured data governance.

Stuart’s financial transaction data was fragmented across the back office, 3rd party PSP, NetSuite, and internal PSP Services, making compliance tracking, reconciliation, and governance difficult. The lack of a unified governance strategy led to inconsistent financial reporting, security risks, and audit challenges.

Solution and Contributions:

• Established Data Governance Policies: Defined metadata standards, data dictionaries, and ownership structures to standardize financial data.

• Implemented Metadata Management and Data Cataloging: Ensured clear documentation of financial data flows across BO, OPP, and NetSuite for governance and audit readiness.

• Designed Data Lineage Tracking: Mapped how delivery, invoice, and payment data moved between systems, improving traceability and reducing reconciliation errors by 20%.

• Developed Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) for GDPR Compliance: Enforced data security protocols, ensuring only authorized teams had access to sensitive financial data.

• Led Requirement Gathering and Stakeholder Engagement: Worked with healthcare providers, compliance teams, and engineering to define data consolidation needs and governance requirements.

• Contributed as a product owner for one of the pods, working on an application designed to process immigration cases at one of the largest immigration law firms in the US.
• Worked with internal stakeholders to understand existing workflows and design the automation framework to remove manual monotonous tasks and tedious back-and-forth.
• Worked with seven different engineering pods to define the technical specifications for the automation framework.
• Revolutionized the Internal Programm Guide (task management system designed to help legal and paralegal users process the cases) by opening up 100s of automation opportunities and a continuous improvement system.

Cruise is the first autonomous vehicle company to be issued a commercial license to charge for public rides. I worked with the development acceleration team assigned with key metrics like cost appropriation, eng accuracy and excellence, and iteration time, which helped Cruise launch its public-facing product on time.

SonderMind is a remote mental health provider that onboards providers across the US and matches them with patients for their needs. My role as a BA/PO was to discover and implement a complex billing model that could seamlessly work across different states, as the platform could match any provider from any location to a patient. Going across the state borders presented challenges related to provider rates and different insurance-related SOPs.

The product itself is a comprehensive EHR and practice management system for veterinary practices across North America. The product offers seamless selections of different modules in any combination for its customers to use and integrations with third-party systems.

The application is the most widely used Pakistani mobile wallet, mobile payments, and branchless banking solution. The application offers seamless registration, onboarding, and a thoughtful user experience design, ensuring customer success.

It's an all-platform (web and mobile) price comparison and booking application, and it's one of the top five applications worldwide in its category. The application lets the customers search for hotels, flights, and car rentals and compare hundreds of travel websites for the best rates and offers to book with the runtime availability option.

Spearheaded Toptal’s Keywords Machine project to enhance organic and paid search performance by aligning user intent with optimized content. I developed a multi-stage manual labeling process for analyzing over 250,000 keywords, integrating key performance indicators such as SEM spend, organic ranking, and transactional intent. I also conducted an in-depth competitive analysis to identify gaps in Toptal’s SEO/SEM strategies and proposed actionable improvements, including implementing multi-skill search filters, trust-building landing page optimizations, and SERP lead capture forms. I collaborated with the Business Analytics team to blend quantitative data with qualitative insights, driving targeted optimizations that improved user engagement and lead conversion for both clients and freelance talent.

Cheetay.Pk is a platform where you can order food, groceries, stationery, and medicine from its web or mobile apps. The delivery runners use another rider app to stay in the system while we also designed an elaborated back-office admin dashboard for restaurants, business owners, and the company itself.

VowPay offers to send instant remittances abroad. The application provides a quick signup option and the facility to connect to a bank account or payment using a credit card for funds transfer. VowPay also offers to track the remittance the customer has sent.

EdX is a massive North American open-source learning management system and course provider. The client who consults top businesses worldwide wanted a customized solution based on this platform to train and track the progress internally for its employees worldwide.

A DAO enablement platform that is incognito at the moment at Ethereum. The product's vision is set to resolve problems in core life processes by leveraging web3 technologies and decentralized financing.

Zameen.com is Pakistan's largest and most used online real estate platform that provides property listing, management, and leasing solutions to 5+ million active users. I was involved with the project at a very early stage and worked closely with the founding team to discover business requirements. My core responsibilities included conducting market and competitive research, road mapping, and carving out an MVP for a quick go-to-market goal.
