I built the front end of National University's website when it was redesigned in 2018. We built a custom WordPress theme from scratch using the Bootstrap framework as a base with a component-based system layered on top. The result is a highly flexible and reusable design system.

I also built a suite of React-Redux components that was API-driven and customizable from the WordPress Admin. These components power the site search modal, the program finder, location finder, and tuition calculator. These components include advanced functionality such as: caching, deep-linking, dynamic rendering, and filtering.

I led the development team that worked on redesigning and re-platforming the WNBA and its 19 team websites to a WordPress multisite instance in 2016. We created a parent theme for the WNBA league site and a child theme for the team sites to create a centralized yet customizable look-and-feel.

I led the development of the NBA's replay center website, which allows fans and sports enthusiasts to view the official replay videos within minutes of recording. The videos are ingested through a webhook that connects to the video management platform used by the league.

I led the development of the NBA Global website, the first destination fans outside the United States see. It has the ability to pull in content from a variety of sources using a content API that was directly integrated via a custom WordPress plugin.

I handled the redesign of the Hit and Triple M networks, which are comprised of more than 70 different radio stations across Australia. The sites were developed on the open-source, .net-based Umbraco platform.

I worked collaboratively with the design team to create the redesigned Triathlete Magazine experience and wrote the entire front-end architecture as a custom WordPress theme. The component-based design allowed for highly customizable landing pages using custom-built WordPress widgets.

I was tasked to help build a new experience for the VeloNews website in WordPress. We translated the grid design into a custom responsive WordPress theme with custom meta boxes to power specific data-heavy sections of the site.

The Toptal React Accelerator is an exclusive learning program that educates JavaScript developers in React, NextJS, Redux, and GraphQL. This is a two-month program that consists of rigorous learning exercises and hands-on activities along with a stringent evaluation process, comprehensive learning assessments, and 30-40 hours of building an Invoice Management System. Within this invoicing application, users are able to track invoices, clients, and company information.

A network of targeted micro-sites built on Ruby on Rails, Alpine.js, and Tailwind that generate leads in the personal finance industry. Each micro-site has its own identity but shares a common set of components and back-end architecture to simplify design and increase development speed.
