PROBLEM STATEMENT
The existing Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) catalog page was outdated, with restricted functionalities and performance issues due to its reliance on an Angular-based UI.

SOLUTION
To address these shortcomings, my team and I introduced a modernized Smart Catalog. It incorporates state-of-the-art features built using contemporary web technologies, primarily Salesforce LWC. This transformation significantly improved the user experience and performance and introduced advanced functionalities like product recommendations and comparisons.

TECHNOLOGIES
The project leveraged a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies. These included Salesforce LWC, Apex, optimized API calls, a composable architecture, Lightning Data Service, event-driven communication between Visualforce and LWC, the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Heroku, Elastic, Apttus CPQ, and Google Analytics. This comprehensive tech stack was pivotal in delivering a resilient and highly efficient solution.

Advanced Custom Cart

PROBLEM STATEMENT
The Apttus cart performance was suboptimal, with sales representatives spending 50% of their time struggling with its sluggishness. Moreover, the cart's user interface presented usability challenges.

SOLUTION
To rectify this, I developed a custom cart application. This application allows users to easily configure their carts, ensuring a user-friendly experience with significantly enhanced performance.

I implemented Heroku Connect to establish a seamless connection between Salesforce and Heroku. Also, I created a web application on Heroku and a corresponding web service to access Heroku data within the Salesforce environment.

Also, in the proof of concept, I demonstrated the integration between Salesforce and Microsoft Teams, highlighting the project's ability to integrate with external platforms seamlessly.

Order Change Process

PROBLEM STATEMENT
The existing system did not allow sales representatives to modify orders, such as adding or removing items.

SOLUTION
My team and I developed a custom application that empowers sales representatives to modify orders and seamlessly push new items to the Enterprise Output Management (EOM) system to address this limitation.

The project utilized a blend of technologies, including Salesforce LWC, AngularJS, Apex classes, triggers, optimized API calls, and Google Analytics, to provide a robust order management and customization solution.

Largecart and Multiple Price List Deal Hub

PROBLEM STATEMENT
The existing Apttus cart had limitations, only allowing the configuration of 150 – 250 line items per quote and permitting just one price list per quote.

SOLUTION
To overcome these constraints, my team and I introduced a custom application called Largecart. This innovative solution now allows for configuring over 1,000 line items per quote. Furthermore, we extended the Largecart implementation to the multiple price list (MPL) DealHub, allowing the creation of multiple quotes under one parent deal, each with its price list.

The project leveraged various technologies, including LWC, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Apex classes, and optimized API classes, as well as batch processing, to achieve these enhancements.

CPQ Turbo Config

PROBLEM STATEMENT
The performance of Apttus API and systems was significantly affected by the reliance on both server and client-side operations, resulting in performance bottlenecks and heap size issues.

SOLUTION
To address this challenge, my team and I opted for a comprehensive solution involving the migration of all data to Azure and establishing data access through APIs. The next step involved a system-wide upgrade of the CPQ system to synchronize with Azure APIs seamlessly.

Salesforce Change Management Process Design and Administration

PROBLEM STATEMENT
When I started working on this project, there was no defined change management (CM) process in place for administrative, change management, and deployment-related activities.

SOLUTION
I implemented a new comprehensive CM process, incorporating various tools and applications. This initiative received significant praise, particularly for features like streamlined XML file generation for quick deployment, a template for personal development (PD) steps, a centralized HTML page, and automated PD steps.

Global Service Operations | Secure Room Operations with Vendor Complaints

PROBLEM STATEMENT
The absence of a specialized tool posed challenges in efficiently overseeing global service and secure room operations. Similarly, the lack of a dedicated platform for vendors to raise complaints presented a need for an organized and streamlined solution.

SOLUTION
My team and I introduced a holistic application that proficiently manages a spectrum of global business operations, encompassing vital aspects such as locations, assets, personnel, and revenue.

Also, we created a Salesforce application designed to streamline the process of vendor and user complaints submission to USAA, ensuring efficient communication and issue resolution.

To develop this solution, we employed various technologies, including Salesforce communities, Visualforce pages, Apex classes, triggers, Batch classes, junction objects, master-detail relationships, public groups, reports, email alerts, and templates for enhanced functionality and communication.

GSD Frontdoor and Automation

Implemented a comprehensive verification process for new vendors, including risk assessment via the GSD Risk Model. Additionally, vendors and users gained the ability to initiate global service delivery requests through GSD Frontdoor. These systems were seamlessly integrated with GSD Automation and GSD Data Objects.
