Experience

  • Whirlpool Brand WP Theme
    http://www.brastemp.com.br/

Both Brastemp and Consul are consumer brands of Whirlpool Latin America. I am one of the designers in charge of defining the information architecture and developing the front-end layer of several interactive components and integrating them into their WordPress structure. I am particularly proud of the aesthetic result of the designs and how many millions of people this website impacts.

  • Adventistas.org
    http://www.adventistas.org/

Adventistas.org is the internet portal of the South American Division of the Adventist Church. My role as lead designer was to conduct user research and develop the front-end architecture for this large-scale WordPress theme based on a multi-site installation, creating a customized large scale fork of Bootstrap 3. Besides the portal's impressive growth last couple of years (over tenfold), I'm really proud of the community of developers we were able to form due to the openness of the project, and the style guide (http://styleguide.adventistas.org) we built for this community.

  • RedWeek
    http://www.redweek.com/

RedWeek.com is the largest online community and marketplace for timeshare rentals and resales. I've been working on this project as an information architect and front-end developer, defining userflows, creating wireframes and coding new pages based on a style guide created by the team. This project uses Zurb's Foundation as a front-end framework, with several custom JavaScript solutions. Besides the overall amazing redesign (from http://classic.redweek.com to the current version), we were able to at first launch the redesign based solely on CSS changes, gradually rewriting the front-end layer of the pages and maintaining the exact back-end structure.

  • Nextt Corporate Website

This is the website of the company that I currently work for as a lead designer. I designed the website's layout, I worked on the CSS and JS for the responsive mobile version, and I set up all Google Analytics tags, triggers, goals, and conversions. This corporate website was built using Zurb Foundation and Jekyll templating engine, so there's no server structure, but a very easy and straightforward editing capability for front-end developers. This website was done in a very short timeframe (a little over two weeks), so given the time available, I'm really happy about the quality of the project.
