Work Experience
Digital Designer
Freelance
- Led design, project management, client relations, and execution of all design work as an independent designer for startups, midsized businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and global web applications.
- Delivered designs for Adobe, Groupon, Fantasy Interactive, Directi, InvisionApp, and Mailchimp.
- Provided rich, interesting, and enjoyable experiences while working with clients worldwide.
UI/UX Designer
RentU LLC
- Led the end-to-end UX strategy and UI design for RentU, a rental marketplace platform targeting graduating students and young professionals, resulting in a scalable design system aligned with FARE Act compliance.
- Streamlined the landlord onboarding and property listing experience through a 3-step flow (account setup, sync PMS, invite team), increasing potential property import speed by 40%.
- Developed an adaptive dashboard for landlords featuring cards for active listings, lease expirations, applications, and alerts — enhancing visibility and reducing decision friction.
- Defined and designed the OAuth and API key-based PMS integration flow supporting systems like AppFolio, Yardi, and RentManager, facilitating seamless property syncing.
- Crafted an investor-facing pitch deck alongside product visuals and storytelling—articulating product-market fit, pre-market leasing advantage, and reducing time-on-market for landlords by up to 60 days.
Director of Product Design
Apollo
- Joined Apollo as a founding designer and led projects involving user research to craft the last-pixel reach to users in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Increased Apollo.io downloads in the Chrome Web Store from 30,000 to 140,000+ plus user adoption and retention.
- Enabled sales representatives to set their preferences upfront. Then Apollo.io acts as an AI engine to generate leads and accounts that match their preferences.
- Created an import CSV flow that helps users upload their CSVs to Apollo.io and pushes the imported contacts to CRM by setting the data field values.
Lead Product Designer
Zencargo (Freelance)
- Joined Zencargo at an early stage when it was a team of three people; it has since grown to 25+ people.
- Crafted the product's early user experience, worked with the decision-maker on new features and ideas, conducted user research, and collaborated with the engineers executing the pixels.
- Spent time with the CEO to understand the book shipment feature's end goal and researched how competitors solve this problem.
- Designed a dashboard for users to track their shipments and identify any actions needed to unlock them.
- Created the manage shipment page where users can see and manage all past, present, and upcoming shipments.
Design Contractor
Flock (Freelance)
- Redesigned Flock, a communication and collaboration app that gives teams a faster and more efficient way to communicate.
- Redesigned the core app experience from scratch, including in-app features like to-dos, notes, and polls.
- Performed competitor analysis, validated early design ideas with users, and worked on new product initiatives with the vice president of product.
