Information from Salesforce is published and pushed to the website in near real-time while user actions on the website such as checkout/registration are pushed into Salesforce for order management and fulfillment. Salesforce and the website are also integrated with FedEx Webservices, USAePay payment gateway, and a custom student login back end built on Heroku.
Custom Freshbooks+Salesforce integration
Designed, architected and coded a custom Freshbooks integration with Salesforce using APEX code and the Freshbooks Open API to allow the client to generate single and automated/recurring Freshbooks invoices directly from Salesforce and be able to receive payment success/failure notifications automatically via webhooks and a Salesforce custom APEX REST service.

Integrated Salesforce with Quickbooks Online utilizing a combination of custom APEX code, the Quickbooks REST API, and integration middleware. Enabled the customer to automatically generate invoices and invoice line items from Salesforce along with Quickbooks account categorizations for line items, automatically send generated invoices with a custom PDF template to clients, and receive payment updates in Salesforce as invoices are paid via Quickbooks using webhook and a Salesforce custom APEX REST endpoint.
