Gocleer: Vehicle Safety Ratings
Gocleer is an insurtech startup from Barcelona. The team was looking to have a microsite built where prospects could check the safety ratings of their vehicles according to the Euro NCAP (The European New Car Assessment Programme) and get a discount on their insurance if they scored over 90%.
To meet the client's requirements, a custom design was made in compliance with their brand guidelines.
The design was then turned into a custom WordPress theme and a custom plugin that combined requests to the Euro NCAP website and scraped some details displayed on the website.

Vera Fernandez
Vera Fernandez—a filmmaker and photographer from Argentina—had her personal and portfolio site hosted on Wix and decided that WordPress was a better choice. However, she liked the minimalistic look that Wix offered.
The solution was to build a near-identical version of her previous site but with improvements made to the navigation menu, photo galleries, and how videos were embedded—giving her the possibility to use her portfolio on Vimeo on her portfolio rather than having to upload videos to the site itself.

https://urbilabs.com/While rebuilding this website, the goal was to keep it light and SEO optimized. Front-end libraries, such as React, were leveraged while keeping the content management capabilities that WordPress offers.
The website was built using GatsbyJS, which is a static site builder. It uses React to output a set of static pages that make up the site. It easily connects to WordPress, which makes content management a breeze.
As an added benefit, Netlify was used to host the site. By connecting it to the project's Gitlab repository, adding updates and improvements were made more simple.
